The long term effect the British had coming to Australia

The British coming to Australia made an effect on the indigenous and they way they lived and also could have been an effect on the wildlife. For the long term effect on Australia from the British coming could be the wildlife back than may have had to adjust from just the indigenous being there and some animals dying and then some animals that were once alive may be either hardly surviving or extinct.

The indigenous people could have also been effected long term, as some wouldn’t of felt comfortable with others ‘taking’ their land and left Australia meaning most of Australia’s population wasn’t multi-cultural if the land was equally shared.  Some of the racism people have today against the indigenous people could also be effect by when the British came because when they came they fought and didn’t get along because they didn’t know who’s land it actually was and the fight is still going on today. The fight over whose land it is the British or indigenous land is actually is.

Todays land the effects when the British came is that mainly everything we do is British like the food, clothing and sports we play are mainly all from British people. Today people have been influenced by the British people on doing what mainly they do, the indigenous people have been made to learn English and focus on what English people do not doing what their culture would normally do.

The British coming had an effect on the wildlife and indigenous people or other people that believe that it actually is the indigenous people’s land.

Why I choose that picture of 1900's houses.

I choose those photos of the house in 1900’s because it was a very clear difference of the 20th century and the 19th.  The 1900’s houses are easily made and it very different the houses now and the 20th century. The houses back then had more detail in them and can easily see the difference on the time the builders spent on the houses. All the detail and time is easily a big difference on the houses in the 2000's and now. I choose the picture of the 1900's house because of the reason as there is a clear difference.

The houses of the 20th century.

Pictures of clothing people wore in the 20th century.

A picture of the immigration restriction.

The Immigration Restriction Act

The Immigration Restriction Act was in 1901 were the act of Parliament of Australia were they limited the immigration of people coming to Australia. It was also made illegal for immigrants to come and if they did they’d be deported out of the country. The act at the time stopped may people coming to Australia and also the starting of the ‘Dictation test’. The dictation test is mainly were people, not necessarily English people, some of the European language, at the option of becoming an immigration officer. The test was mainly used in Western Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania; the test won’t be any longer than 50 words long but sometimes very difficult. The dictation test gave the officers a chance to evaluate the participants on the basis of language skills and also gave the person a chance of failing, as the test was that challenging many people failed. The immigration act gave some people who knew the English language well to come into Australia.

Definition of Egalitarianism

Egalitarianism is the fairness of mankind and the appeal of governmental, economic and social equality. Egalitarianism is about equality of all people.  The fairness of everyone in the society today, the public equality and financial fairness.  A simple definition of egalitarianism is basically everything equal for everyone.

The difference in houses from 1900's to 2000's.

The changes in the houses from 1900 and 2000’s have changed massively due to closer to the years of 2000 the technology would have been more improved than earlier in life. Technology improving over the years has made it more possible for builders to work on houses faster and make them better for people to live in longer.  The houses today are more modern than in the 1900’s and due to the lack of knowledge they had one how they could develop the houses to make them last longer and look better in the 1900’s would of looked more like the did in 2000’s.

Builders in 2000’s have had more skills and knowledge of what to make a long lasting house.  Houses in 1900’s weren’t as long lasting and the material used is obviously very different and is a part of why they don’t last as long.

In the pictures shown there is clearly a difference in the design and the way it was build it is obvious how different they are. Houses are visibly different in many ways and as some shown in the pictures of the different houses in 1900’s and 2000’s.
